Description
Thomas More was a brilliant English lawyer and a councilor and friend to King Henry VIII. He passionately opposed the king’s ideas of reforming the Church in England, and was beheaded for it. However, More was always a true man of God who could still honor his king. “I die the king’s good servant, but God’s first,” were his last words. More’s book, Utopia, addresses various social topics and is widely studied to this day.
