Description
Born in France in 1607, Isaac Jogues became a Jesuit priest. His heart burning to bring the Gospel of Jesus to those who had never heard it. He was sent to Canada where he eagerly worked in the Jesuit missions among the native peoples. He endured great sufferings and gave his life as a martyr. The beautiful shrine at Auriesville, New York, is built on the site of the village where he lived, suffered, and died. Paper.
