Description
Teresa was a Carmelite nun in Spain during the sixteenth century. She loved to talk and visit with people in the convent parlor. But then Jesus called her to a radical conversion. Teresa set out on the great work of reforming the Carmelite order, callering her sisters back to their deep roots of prayer and penance. She became a great mystic and a Doctor of the Church. Teresa also helped Saint John of the Cross in his reform of the Carmelite friars. Together they helped the Church renew its life of prayer and mission. Paper.
